Getting Creative in Black and White
With the extreme popularity of full color pieces and design houses, it is easy to forget that a nice black and white brochure can be an excellent and economical way to get your point across.
If you're on a limited budget, or want to see a better return on your investment, black and white is the way to go. Black and white also is much easier to print and turnaround times are much faster.
Consider these ideas next time you are designing in black and white.
- Consider using screens (gray shades) in your design. They can add flavor to your design and are inexpensive to reproduce.
- Strive to create a layout that draws attention to your ad, and at the same time separates you from the crowd.
- Use clip art and other free means to enhance your ad.
- Use different border and illustrations to accentuate your advertisment
